so the next question is what do i do about my dying iphone 4s. i've been planning to buy a iphone 5c and get virgin mobile service but their coverage area shows no coverage for like 10-20 minutes from my home. when i was there last summer i think i got coverage with sprint closer than that, and i thought they were the same network. but if coverage is that bad, it's not really worth it to have a nice cell phone. i plan to be at home a lot so then the cell phone would only be used very occasionally. so maybe i buy a crappy cell phone for the occasional important not-at-home call... but then I do want to use apps like audible. facebook i can check on my computer. but it would be nice to listen to audible books without firing up computer. what I really want is to listen to music and audiobooks, so i guess a regular mp3 player would work for that? that seems to make a lot more financial sense than spending $440 on a new iphone 5c when really i just wanna listen to stuff. and i like that it would be small.
wow. this thing is $30! seems like it has everything I would need. 4gb is pretty small but I could add 16gb micro SDHC card. ew, reviews look bad. need one that works well.
Mach Speed - Eclipse 180G2 Series 4GB* Video MP3 Player - Red

Samsung Galaxy Reverb for $50 seems like my best bet. And it has up to 64GB storage so maybe I don't need an mp3 player afterall. wish i could see/feel it in person before ordering, but i think virgin mobile has a money back guarantee.
yikes, reviews on this look bad too!
that's it for me today.
