this will be a stream of consciousness list of what items I want space for in my future tiny home. will likely edit frequently:
comfortable place to sit and eat
table/flat surface for painting where I can leave the painting to dry. will need to be protected from curious kitten paws.
windows to see the beautiful outside
place for guitar, probably hanging on wall as decoration and hopefully I will start playing it again.
place for nice camera to always be out or easily accessible so I use it a lot.
I might need a shed for storing stuff like building materials, painting materials...
I want the bathroom sink in front of a window with a medium-sized mirror hanging in front of the window for even natural lighting.
I like the white beadboard paneling look with antique-looking black iron or Oil rubbed bronze hardware.
a warm/hot bathroom is a must. and I would like a bidet somehow!
doesn't seem like a lot of things. guitar, camera...space for makeup and skincare I guess. extra blankets and throw blankets.
food storage--that'll take up a lot of space b/c I plan to buy in bulk and not go to the store more than once a week. so lots of shallow shelves that can be concealed would be good. these can probably fit in between wall studs.
full-sized fridge/freezer?
space for clothes & footwear. will probably only need sneakers, flip flops, hiking boots and rainboots? no idea what I'll do with all my cute and/or work clothes. actually will need to save some cute clothes for design client meetings.
I think just 2 burners would be sufficient for my cooking needs, I rarely use more than that. and 1 of them could even be a cast iron stove maybe. I don't bake much so maybe just a 2-burner stove/oven would be good? I wonder if I'd be ok with just a big toaster oven. some bakeware dishes say not to use them in a toaster oven.
space for cookware, but that could be out/decorative.
