this seems like the best insulation for me (natural=good air quality), just need to make sure it will be insulating enough for cold maine winters! here's a few websites I've found. one of them says Maine code calls for minimum R20 in the walls, and I think that 2x6 walls would limit me to 5-5.5 inches of insulation which apparently would only be R16 to R21 ish. need to do more research.
